Description
They say a leather school shoe has to be stiff, that stiffness is what protects, what 'holds up'. Well, it turns out not. This natural-leather shoe is genuinely flexible — not that marketing-flexible that really means 'it bends a bit if you put all your strength into it' — and at the same time it's tough, breathable and has a protective toe cap for the knocks that come with no warning, which they always do. Light like something that doesn't look it and solid like something that does.
The non-slip sole does its job on wet ground, on school tiles and on any surface where a child decides to change direction all of a sudden. The adjustable closure can be opened and closed by anyone, with no negotiations. The insole is removable and antibacterial, so the foot is comfortable and the shoe smells reasonably good after a week of intensive use. (Reasonably. No miracles either.)

Care
Hand wash only. Not machine washable. Remove the insole before cleaning. Wipe with a cloth dampened with mild soap and air-dry, away from heat sources. Tip: air the insole after each use.
