Description
User protocol: step one, fasten the adjustable closure — two seconds, no drama. Step two, head out the door. Step three, don't think about the shoe again until the child gets home. If at any point in the day someone has remembered they have it on, the shoe hasn't done its job. This one does: natural leather that breathes while the foot does its thing, a non-slip sole that doesn't negotiate with wet ground, and a protective toe cap for the collisions with the world that, statistically (and in practice), are going to happen.
The sole is flexible and light, made so the foot bends where it has to bend without carrying extra weight. The adjustable closure fastens with no mystery and keeps up the pace of someone who puts them on and takes them off ten times a day. The insole is removable — in case you need to replace it or simply air it — and has an antibacterial treatment, which is the elegant way of saying it smells fine at the end of the day. Tough in build, gentle on the foot in everything else.

Hand wash only. Not machine washable. Remove the insole before cleaning. Wipe with a cloth dampened with mild soap and air-dry, away from heat sources. Tip: air the insole after each use.
