The Scout sandal is made for that exact moment — the dash out the door — with a breathable technical fabric that doesn't turn the foot into an oven at midday, a flexible structure that bends where it has to bend, and just the right weight so the child doesn't notice anything on. (Step 4 doesn't exist. It isn't needed.) The lights in the sole switch on with movement, so summer comes with special effects built in.

The non-slip sole takes changes of direction no adult would anticipate, and the reinforced toe cap is there for the run-ins that are going to happen. The cushioned insole with an antibacterial treatment means that at the end of the day the smell is a minor problem. The adjustable closure goes on and off in seconds — ideal for someone with no time or patience, which at these ages is everyone.

Hand wash only. Not machine washable. Remove the insole before cleaning. Wipe with a cloth dampened with mild soap and air-dry, away from heat sources. Tip: air the insole after each use.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Window: 30 days from receipt — the first 14 are the legal right of withdrawal; the rest, an extension we offer. Return cost: €3.95 in Spain. €9.95 in the European Union (deducted from the refund). To change size or model: make a return and place a new order — we don't accept direct exchanges. Returns are handled exclusively by courier; they are not accepted in a physical store. Refund: within a maximum of 14 calendar days from when you tell us you want to return, to the same payment method and including the shipping costs of the purchase. You can try the shoes on as you would in a shop; we would only deduct the diminished value if they come back with use beyond that check.
